A South American native, Yucca is known for its sword-like leaves and cluster of creamy white blossoms, with fruits that appear like dropping green capsules. Yucca is an extension of the agave family and has many health, skin, and cleansing benefits.

What are the skin benefits?

A jack of all trades, Yucca has been a resourceful plant throughout its history. Applied to the skin, the peel of the plant can be used to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells and the root can be used to brighten the complexion. Since it has an abundant amount of vitamin C, it has been shown to prevent dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

Our YUCCA + LACTIC ACID liquid exfoliant provides the same renewing, clarifying, and brightening as the new year. Divided into Yucca, 11% Lactic Acid + 10% Glycolic Acid, it is intended as a leave-on exfoliant treatment meant to remove dead skin cells and unclogs pores leaving behind a smooth and glowing complexion. We recommend applying 2-3x per week before gradually working up to daily use.
